Founded by Wendell Cooper, a seasoned educator with over 30 years of teaching experience, One Wall Driving School was born from a passion for helping people succeed. Wendell’s deep-rooted commitment to education and expertise in defensive driving has made our school a trusted name in the community.

Our Story
Wendell Cooper’s journey in education began with a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a minor in Driver’s Education from Southern Illinois University in 1985. After years of inspiring students in the classroom and on the basketball court, he pursued a master’s degree in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of Colorado in 1990. In 1986, he obtained his Driver’s Education Certificate, marking the start of a lifelong passion for teaching safe driving.
With over three decades of teaching experience, Wendell retired to focus on his dream: equipping the next generation of drivers with the skills they need to thrive on the road. One Wall Driving School results from that dream, blending education, experience, and innovation into a driving school unlike any other.
